WOW… I honestly don’t even know where to begin. 🥹💙

I’M OFFICIALLY FEATURED IN VOYAGEDALLAS MAGAZINE! 📰✨

When I started pursuing my passion for dance and building S.A. Academy, I never imagined I’d one day be sharing my story in a publication.

Sometimes we’re so focused on what’s next that we forget to appreciate how far we’ve already come.

This moment means more to me than I can put into words. I’m grateful for every opportunity, every lesson, and every person who has been part of this journey.

Thank you, VoyageDallas, for giving me the opportunity to share my story.

This is only the beginning. Art in Motion. Power in Every Step. 💙🩶

Raw & Releasing. 💜

I wasn’t going to post this because I wasn’t fully put together, but oh well. 😂 This is what feeling free and releasing looks like in the spur of the moment.🤍 This felt to good!

No choreography. No expectations. Just movement.

Long post alert… but from the heart 💙

I just want to start by saying thank you to my family for supporting me on this new journey of building my business.

Graduating in December 2021 was already a journey in itself… dealing with COVID, leaving school early, online classes, and at the same time trying to step into my dance career. It was a lot all at once. But looking back, I can truly say God was preparing me for everything I’m handling now.

I’m so grateful for my family, my friends, my mentors, and anyone who has ever poured into me, gave advice, or supported me in any way. It does not go unnoticed 🤍

Starting this business hasn’t been easy. It’s been challenging, mentally and emotionally. There have been moments where I questioned things… especially when I didn’t receive support from people I once showed up for. And that part? That’s been hard.

But I’ve made the decision to let God handle what I can’t control, and shift my focus to the love and support I am receiving.

Because it’s easy to compare. It’s easy to focus on what’s missing.
But I’m choosing to focus on what’s present… and what’s growing ✨

In this video, my mom, my Nana, and my sister surprised me with my LLC framed, a planner, a binder, a dream journal, pens, markers… just everything to keep me organized and going. They’ve supported me financially and emotionally, and truly been my backbone through all of this.

And my boyfriend… my best friend… he’s been right there too. Just solid. Consistent. Supportive.

I’m just really, really grateful.

This is just a little transparency moment… a behind-the-scenes of what support looks like for me, and a reminder that you don’t need a crowd — you just need the right people.

I love y’all 🤍✨

Today is not just my birthday… it’s a reminder of purpose. 💙✨

God gave me a vision bigger than me and this year, I stepped into it.
I didn’t wait until everything was perfect.
I didn’t wait until I had it all figured out.
I just STARTED.

Sensory Artistry Academy was born from passion, faith, and a desire to pour into the next generation of girls.

This year, I’m not just celebrating life…
I’m celebrating growth, courage, and walking in what I was called to do.

If you’ve been watching, supporting, sharing, or believing in me thank you.
This is only the beginning. 💙✨

I heard y’all been missing Melaninn J on Mondays 🤎✨
Just know I’m still working😮‍💨

As a coach, I believe in staying active in multiple genres
because how can I pour into my dancers if I’m not pouring into myself? 💫

To every dancer who trusted my direction and brought this vision to life thank you from the bottom of my heart 🤞🏾✨ Your presence, your energy, your commitment means more than you know. You didn’t just dance… you executed 🫶🏾🎬

What lives in my head is always cinematic 🧠🎞️ This is just one visual translation of how I hear music and see movement. Every detail, every transition, every texture was intentional 💭🎶

Major respect to the artists behind this record 🎧🔥 The production is infectious. The bounce, the pocket, the feeling? Elite. Thank you for creating something that inspires movement like this 👏🏾✨ @dontoliver @jaasu

Grateful to create. Grateful to lead. Grateful to build.
This is just the beginning 🚀💓
