Sip & Paint was never just about what ended up on the canvas. It was about the music, the conversations, the food, the laughs, and a room full of people choosing to spend an evening creating something together.

Watching everyone walk in as strangers and slowly settle into the space, pick up a brush, grab a drink and make the night their own was exactly what we wanted Designare to feel like.

Thank you to every single person who showed up and brought the vibe with them. A special thank you to our DJ @drugsforfilms for setting the perfect soundtrack and keeping the energy flowing throughout the night. And to everyone who helped us bring the night together behind the scenes, we couldn’t have done it without you.

This one was special.

Sip & Paint by Designare

A night for Melbourne creatives to slow down, make something, meet someone new, and have a drink while doing it.

You do not need to be a painter. You do not need to know what you’re doing either. This is less about making something perfect and more about the experience of sitting around a table, painting something questionable, talking to people you probably would not have met otherwise, and leaving with a canvas that is completely your own.

Come alone or bring a friend. We’ll have the space, the paints, the brushes and the atmosphere sorted.

We have more inspiration than any generation before us. And somehow, everything is starting to look the same.

Not because we’ve stopped being creative.

Because we’re all being fed the same references, the same aesthetics, the same “you might also like” over and over again.

You save one thing. The algorithm gives you ten versions of it. Suddenly your moodboard looks suspiciously like everyone else’s.

Maybe individual style isn’t disappearing. Maybe it just takes more intention now.

So the question is: **are you choosing what you like, or is your feed choosing for you?**

The trail is officially set. 🏃‍♀️

This Saturday, we’re taking Run to the Summit through a 3KM trail around South Yarra, starting from our meeting point and finishing exactly where we need to be: coffee. ☕️

Run it. Jog it. Walk it. No pace pressure, no experience needed. Just show up and move with us.

📅 Saturday, 22 August
⏰ Meet from 10:30 AM | Run starts 11 AM
🏃 3KM trail
☕ 12 PM coffee at Mr Summit, Fawkner Rd

The route’s out. Now all that’s left is to run it.
