Bar Sala makes a strong case for staying in one place all night.

Start in the candlelit dining room, where a Mediterranean-inspired, wood-fired menu is made for sharing. Standouts from our table included the raw yellowfin tuna rosti, T-bone steak and citrus-curd bombolini. You can order à la carte or leave it to the kitchen with the $85 chef’s menu.

After dinner, move into the Music Room for cocktails, vinyl and a soundtrack of jazz, funk and soul. Dinner, drinks and late-night music, all without stepping back onto the street.
