If you’re looking for somewhere to escape the crowds this winter, put Mill Place Merchants on your list. ✨

From the moment we walked in, it felt like we’d stepped into another world. Think flickering candlelight, exposed brick, smooth jazz and a cosy atmosphere that makes you want to settle in for the night.

We kicked things off with one of the best mulled wines we’ve had this winter, followed by a perfectly made Old Fashioned and a rich Boulevardier. 🍸

And the food? The Blackmore Wagyu meatballs absolutely stole the show. Rich, comforting and worth ordering. The truffle goat’s cheese and porcini & truffle arancini were the perfect match alongside the cocktails.

Little Duck has relocated from its original East Kew store to a bigger, beautiful new space on Auburn Road in Hawthorn, giving growing wardrobes even more room to thrive.

Founded by Melbourne mum Lauren McCaughan, @littleduck_preloved brings together carefully chosen second-hand children's, women's and maternity fashion, alongside shoes, toys, books and accessories.

And those clothes your little one seemingly outgrew overnight? You can rent a rack to sell them in-store, with managed resale options available if you'd prefer a helping hand.

There's thought behind the space, too: a children's play area, a parent room and an upstairs studio for future workshops and community gatherings.

More than 24,000 pieces have already found a second home through Little Duck. This new chapter gives that story a little more room to grow. 💛

Bungalow 147 by the Bay is opening this summer, bringing regional Indian cooking and boutique Australian wines to a heritage building on the waterfront.

Behind the kitchen? Chef Deepak Mishra, whose career includes The Langham and Hotel Chadstone. After almost 30 years in luxury hospitality, he’s opening his first restaurant, with a menu that gets personal.

Think sharing plates, a courtyard for drinks and upstairs celebrations overlooking Hobsons Bay. There’s plenty to get curious about.

The Flinders Lane favourite has opened a new rooftop garden with room for 300, leafy terraces and a retractable roof. Because Melbourne always likes to have a say in your plans.
