Some moments begin as ideas long before they become reality.

Years ago, I shared a vision with @assile.toufaily : to create a space where meaningful conversations about Lebanese sport could bring the right people together. At the time, I did not know exactly how or when it would happen, but I never accepted that it would remain only an idea.

The Sports Exchange was the first step in bringing that vision to life.

Thank you Assile for believing in it, building it with me and helping turn years of conversations into something real.

Thank you to @maroun.elkhoury for sharing your invaluable perspective on university sport, futsal and athlete development in Lebanon.

Thank you to @raedsaddik for bringing an honest entrepreneurial perspective on building and sustaining sports organizations in Lebanon and across the region.

Thank you to @iammehdikoubeissy for sharing your journey from athlete to entrepreneur, and for supporting our vision through @theathletefactoryleb as our Official Event Sponsor.

Thank you to Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth for welcoming us and providing the setting for this important conversation.

And thank you to every person who attended, listened, contributed and connected with us.

As a Canadian Lebanese, this was deeply personal. I have always believed that those of us abroad can contribute to Lebanese sport while representing Lebanon with integrity, ambition and respect.
