6 months to 12. you can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. your body is slowly feeling a bit like yours longer stretches of sleep emotions are ebbing and flowing in a more manageable way. little spurts of leaving the house what a treat. as you pull yourself out of the vortex you’re trying to understand who this new person is. she’s a lot of things and she wants a lot of things and that feels overwhelming. starting to rsvp. participating in preschool events realizing there’s a life out there and getting back to it. travel summer pool days. finally answering texts. starting to see how this whole thing is going to work. still need lots of help but maybe you can do it. the theme of this chapter is REJOICING - everyday is the hardest day but you know you’re made for this. now that you can do this you can do just about anything and that’s powerful. these girls have given me alik and aram everything. they are the gift of life and love. happy birthday to my twin miracles VOLUME II by @melchalz

happy birthday to my girls. birth to 6 months of life. a whirlwind sometimes panic but mostly just really grateful they are earth side and everyone is home. family coming and going a revolving door helping you pick up all the pieces here and there and you can’t really imagine yet how you’re going to get through it. Sleepless nights this is the new norm but it’s a lot of gratitude and tears and high highs coupled with low lows. big emotions small emotions and getting the grasp of parenting twins with a toddler. most rewarding but hardest work i’ve ever put in with a never ending thankless twist. the theme for this chapter is OVERFLOWING - emotions tears stuff noise people bottles things. a very beautiful mess of barely surviving in your own little bubble whilst knowing you are in the most special chapter there is and the gift of these three littles is all there is.
