Started taking jewelry classes in winter 2023 not knowing how much I’d be getting into it

I’ve somehow been consistently getting inquiries, commissions and repair jobs through dms and IRL TYSM. I hate winter but this coldest winter of my life is just passing by so quickly since I’ve been heads down enjoying my new passion. What I’m most proud of is that I’m starting to reach the point where I can figure out how to make things! Which is weird to say but there’s so many methods skillsets and steps, it’s like a puzzle to plan out making a piece come to life. I couldn’t confidently say I can make pieces or not if you asked me 6 months ago but now I can!!

I absolutely LOVE creating one of a kind pieces for people I’ve connected throughout my life. Seeing people I know wearing something I spent hours running around diamond district to gather materials/new tools and making with love (and sometimes tears from not going as planned) absolutely brings me joy! Thank you all for hyping me up seriously. NYC artists are so chill and welcoming. No matter how long ago you’ve picked up your form of art, if they like what you do they hype you up. You know who you are ❤️

I’m on my 14+hour flight to Japan writing this carrying some pieces to deliver to people! So excited to see if they like it
