As a 4c girlie myself, I totally understand her frustration. As a stylist I know how important it is for textured hair to curl, shrinkage and frizz. We textured girlies need to understand that our hair is made for volume and shrinkage. My advice is to anticipate the volume, frizz and shrinkage by playing with styles that look good both ways.
