✈️🧑🏻‍✈️Have you been to the @twahotel at JFK Airport? It is so much fun, it’s like stepping back in time to the 1960s. And if you’re a fan of mid-century modern architecture, this is a must see! There’s so much to see at this hotel, the vintage cars, the architecture, the historical airline uniforms, the rooftop bar and pool, Howard Hughes office, vintage beauty salon, knoll furniture, pay phones, vintage flight signs, gift shop, Photo Booth, restored airplane named Connie with a bar and more. If you are in any of the terminals at JFk, it’s very easy to get there, they have a tram that takes you to the terminal where the hotel is And it’s just a short walk from the tram stop.

⚾️ 2026 Dodgers Spring Training 💙 Seeing all these kids on Sunday getting their Baseballs signed by Dodgers players brought back memories. I remember going to NY Yankees Spring Training in Fort Lauderdale when I was a kid and I still have the baseballs I got signed at ther age. As a Mets fan it was so surreal to see Edwin Diaz in a Dodgers uniform but he looks very happy to be there. The Mets loss is the Dodgers and Edwin’s gain. This is my 2nd year as a Dodgers fan. 🤠⚾️♥️💙 Happy Opening Day @rangers @mlb !!! I enjoyed going to the @rangers Spring Training this year. As a Mets fan it was surreal to see Nimmo & deGrom in Texas uniforms. I got to see Nimmos 1st at bat with his new team, against Brazil and got to see deGrom pitch. I met a photographer who was there talking photos for 2026 @topps baseball Spring Training cards. I was surprised the photos are all candid and the players don’t pose and they didn’t even know he was there taking there photos for the cards. He was sent to take pics of Nimmo, deGrom and one other player. He said due to MLB license with Topps that’s how it works sometimes. Did you know that the Dodgers and several other MLB teams have Adult Fantasy Baseball Camp / Adult Baseball Camp that Adult fans 30yrs and up can sign up for and have the pro experience for a week and live out their big league dreams and play on the same field? (Who’s excited for 2026 MLB Spring Training starting in a few weeks?)

Registration for camp is online and the price includes hotel for a week, games at team Spring Training facility or Minor League fields, some meals, your own Major League team uniform, your own locker in the team clubhouse, playing in games coached by MLB legends, coaches, former coaches. The Dodgers Team is co-ed and the Mets has an all Female Fantasy Camp in addition to their traditional Fantasy Camp. Elf on a Shelf on the Frank Lloyd Wright Spire in Scottsdale. Located a few miles from Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s former winter home, architectural studio. The spire is 125-feet tall and made of turquoise colored steel and has LED lighting. The spire was built in 2004 as a tribute to Wright’s unbuilt design for the Arizona State Capitol. It reminds me of a A Havdalah candle.

🎡Last week I went to the AZ state fair. I’m giving this my honest review since I think all the other reviews are paid to post how wonderful this is. Nobody wanted to go with me so I went alone. I had been to a state fair in Vermont & Miami once and I was so excited to go and it was a huge letdown. It’s not worth the pricey entry fee. Food was ridiculously overpriced $16.50 for 3 fried Oreos, $9 ice cream cones, most food repetitive as you walked by the stands and was starting at $18 for junk. My $9 strawberries in chocolate and $9 lemonade didn’t seem as bad. Coney Island and any NYC Street Fair is 💯 % better than this and better priced. It was so hot that I ended up getting heat stroke, rapid heart rate and felt flushed and like I was going to vomit and there was no place with real air conditioning to sit down so I ended up sitting on the floor in a building without a/c. Lesson learned. Not for me and made me miss NYC even more. taken in Arizona State Fair by @meldeeynyc
