Say hello to Panorama City!

@metro.art.la unveils the latest art poster in the ‘Through the Eyes of Artists’ series: Panorama City by artist @meldepaz, now on buses and trains throughout the region.

Amidst a starry sky and the iconic hills of the San Fernando Valley, artist Mel Depaz’s artwork highlights Plaza Del Valle, a beloved shopping complex and community hub home to approximately 100 small businesses and restaurants. Inspired by the plazas of Latin America, Plaza Del Valle also hosts community events with live entertainment and family-friendly activities, captured through Depaz’s mariachi-heart trumpeter and colorful folklorico dancers.

On Monday, Sept 14, meet the artist and receive a FREE signed art poster at the Latino/Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at Plaza Del Valle, 8610 Van Nuys Blvd, Panorama City, from 9AM to 12PM. Join the festivities, meet Mel Depaz, and learn more about her creative process.

Collectors can also pick up their free poster at any Metro Customer Center across Los Angeles County, including Union Station, Baldwin Hills, Crenshaw, East Los Angeles, LAX/Metro Transit Center, Rosa Parks Station, and Wilshire/Vermont.

Designed this thinking of a celebration of Los Angeles and no better way than with bright papel picado. Really cool seeing a 2D design live on a method limited edition body wash and now as 3D papel. Limited edition body wash available at @ultabeauty and methodproducts.com. 💗 by @meldepaz

When I smelled this body wash I designed for @methodproducts it made me think of summer in LA. This scent smells like water lilies, coconut and daylight solar bloom like the radiance of summer fragrance passing by when you feel the breeze. Now available at @ultabeauty
