Got a little surprise package from @meledesignfirm ! Inside was a beautifully crafted Mele Group 35 Battery Tie-Down… and somehow we ended up with both the V1 and V2 versions?! But the coolest surprise had to be seeing an A’PEXi logo laser-engraved onto one of the tie-downs. Super thoughtful detail. And a very nice touch for the GR86! These tie-downs are made from 5052 marine-grade aluminum, the same material commonly used for off-road and rally skid plates. All aluminum is locally sourced in the Pacific Northwest and fully crafted in house by Mele. The GR86 had been running the OEM Toyota battery, which honestly works perfectly fine for normal use. Reliable, simple, no complaints. BUT the third surprise in the box changed things up… They also sent over a Full Throttle FT 750-35 AGM Battery ! This high-performance AGM battery features: ・Thin plate pure lead construction ・Higher reserve capacity ・Superior vibration resistance ・Better heat durability ・Maintenance-free operation And with a strong 750 cranking amp output, cold starts and harsh weather conditions become no problem at all. taken in A'PEXi by @meledesignfirm

Central Oregon never ceases to amaze me 🖤 Got to take both of these @anderson_design_fabrication lifted and @meledesignfirm mounted @subaru_usa Foresters to Overland Expo to camp out at Subaru Base Camp.
