Sebuah lagu rock ghaib untuk Mikael.

Finally, saya dapat kongsikan lagu tema OST Mikael berjudul ‘Sumpah Tanah Dan Api’ hasil kolaborasi bersama produser terkemuka @melina__william.

Lagu ini membawa semangat kembara ‘Mikael’ merentasi dunia dua alam, merempuhi dugaan dan sengsara - semirip dengan melodi lagunya yang padu dan mencabar jiwa (dan vokal). Dan hanya seorang insan saja yang dapat membawa lagu ‘cinematic rock kapak’ ini dengan ketulusan suara rock hybrid lantang, iaitu adik saya @hameerzawawi 🔥

Dengan itu, izinkan saya untuk mengisi ruang siber IG kalian dengan lagu ‘Sumpah Tanah Dan Api’, bentangan @hameerzawawi, dengan harapan mewarnai dunia auditori ‘Mikael’ sebelum kalian menontonnya di pawagam @gscinemas 2hb April 2026.

Last Saturday (15 Nov 2025) was truly a magical night. Sharing a story of how a spiritual being learning to be human on this earth through songs. There are 7 phases of the soul evolution, each represented by a song to depict the theme of the evolution.

A different way to look at the self and the life.

I wanted to start Colourbration with a celebration vibe, inspired by the rhythm of traditional Malaysian drums used in welcoming ceremonies 🥁🎊

Back in 2019, I was thrilled to spot the Kompang and Rebana representing Malaysia at the Chimei Museum in Tainan, Taiwan (swipe to the last photo). I whispered to myself: one day, I’ll make a song with you.

Fast forward to the studio in 2023 - watching Rudy, Melina, and Rozhan experiment with Rebana, Jidur, and Sunda. The soul and energy of these traditional drums hit differently - they move us in a way modern instruments can’t. Truly honoured to witness this creative process ✨
