Shout out to baby Liss. Thank you for dreaming big and for never letting me settle. This is all for you✈️✈️✈️

Spent the last five years answering three questions:
1. So you just dance every day?
2. Do you even have to write anything?
3. Is that even a real degree?
And to all three, I answered yes. (Many many times)

Thank you to my Mum and Dad for all of your love and support. You are both so flipping awesome. I hope one day I am as boss as you are✨✨✨✨✨✨

Not one to show emotion on here but leaving the OC community has made me so reflective of the time I have spent there. My growth, the relationships I have made and the memories I will cherish are so special to me. So here goes…

Throughout this season of goodbyes and the ending of a chapter, leaving One church has had to be the hardest. This place and the people it has brought me will always have the most special place in my heart. I’m so blessed I found a place throughout my university years were I could escape to. A place were I could feel so myself, seen, whole and at peace. Thank you to every single person who welcomed me and looked after me. You don’t realise how much you helped a homesick, exhausted uni student.
Thank you to my small group family for teaching me so many things I didn’t think I needed to know. You are my home away from home and you will always have the most special place in my heart. Your guidance and love has shaped me and I couldn’t be more grateful. Our homemade family is just perfect and I just don’t know what I’m going to do without seeing your faces every week.
To the Youth team, I know my time with you guys was short but our Friday evenings were the BEST. Even when I’m running on 3hours sleep, I’ve been at uni since 8am and we finish packing up 15hours later, I still enjoy every single moment. Being on this team has taught me so many skills and has helped me grow and mature (maybe). Thank you to both team and youth, you’re all dope.
Thanks be to God for all of the memories and laughs this Church and his people has brought me.
Growing and furthering my relationship with God was never on my uni bingo list but it has been the best thing I ever did. No matter how far I move away from Leicester, I will never walk away from him.
I will miss you all so deeply and will always be so grateful for the time we had. I think I have an A* in goodbyes and new adventures but when you’re saying goodbye to somewhere that is home to you, gosh it’s so hard. I’m so truly heartbroken my time here has come to an end but I am trusting Gods plan and I am so excited for this next adventure. I love you all dearly and I hope our paths cross again.
