Cece had her follow up neurosurgery appt last week about her back. He gave her the ok to not wear the brace as long as she is not showing signs of pain while moving. That is good since she has not had a good fitting brace this entire time and no brace in our possession since mid june. Her back looked the exact same as her last X-ray. He said she has either healed that way on 6 weeks or they were old fractures that healed like that. Either way her spine is stable for now and no risk for spinal cord compression. He does hope that the reclast infusion she had the end of June will help lay down new bone. She will follow up again in 6 months and have another set of X-rays. Since Cece had the go ahead to move around without her brace, she explored the new house for the first time independently. She definitely has not lost much in the 2 1/2 months she was basically immobile, some endurance but the strength and determination is still there. by @melissa_kenton_cecily
