This is Melissa Alma @melissa_victory She started her martial arts journey about 6 years ago after her father passed away. Melissa was always an athlete growing up but never thought she would become a martial artist. About a year in she started fighting. Through out the years she has fought and trained internationally, coaches, and now has her heart set on following her dreams to become a professional fighter. Her goals are not only personal, she strives to inspire other women to become the most bad ass versions of themselves, and fight for those who no longer can. by @melissa_victory

This was my last fight… One thing about me is I’ll always be on that ass 🤪 I love being a pressure fighter! Crazy to think I was fighting at about 60%-70% health. Camp was going amazing till the last two weeks when I was in the ER twice. Two nights before, hitting my head out of the sauna. My opponent got the W but I was happy to be in there and that I persevered through the obstacles. Most people would have pulled out, my coach almost made me. Not saying fighting in this condition was the smartest move. I’ve taken some time to reflect, trained in Thailand, etc.I was about to give this all up, then god shook up my plans. He showed me what’s possible and to stop thinking small. When opportunities flood you start rafting baby. You might hit a few boulders, get wet, but just go with the flow. POV: You went to Thailand with a bunch of strangers from the UK and came home with friends for life! Thailand had been a dream of mine since I started Muay Thai. That dream finally came true and it was the best experience. Training at @bangtaomuaythaimma was a fighters Disney land. I expected great training and good vibes with @alluresports_ @allurecombatretreat but it was that and more. Every moment was paradise and was a reminder that there is so much to life. We get so comfortable with our daily routines we forget there is a world to explore.I left in tears leaving my new family members 🥹 Until next year gang! 🇹🇭❤️ by @melissa_victory
