✨Not Your Mother's Maternity Photos✨
Big shout out to my GURL Jenna - @freyabearphotography for making these so effortless and fun! We wanted to do trashy tattoo shop maternity photos; because what better way to honor our little bean than to be so silly and so authentically ourselves within the walls of the studio we built together... the one that made it possible for us to grow our future tattoo apprentice at all 💜🥰
.
1 month until baby Veronika makes her grand entrance into the world! I'm so scared but I've got such an incredible partner to ease my troubled mind & that makes all the difference. He is the most amazing father & largely why I changed my mind on having a child of my own in the first place. We started planning on Valentine's Day and frankly, I didnt think it would happen so quick, but I am so grateful that everything happened the way it did.
I am so in love with him and the way he shows up for his kids. Kyle would (and has literally) given them the shirt off his back. I couldn't imagine ever doing the scary, permanent thing with anyone else. I know my journey into motherhood will be one filled with laughter, love & the most memorable moments of my entire life. I'm doing it with my best friend, my partner for life, the one I'm absolutely in love and obsessed with.
.
I can't wait to raise this little girl with all the love we have in our hearts. 💜

🍓🌿🐌Just a Guy🐌🌿🍓
My final tattoo before I officially start maternity leave this week! Its going to be soo weird to not be tattooing for the next 3ish months. I have never taken so much time away from tattooing - at most I've taken a week off.
As much as I'll miss tattooing these next few months, at the same time, I'm grateful to slow down for a moment and focus on what I've been grinding so hard for... Family, my love & home life 💜
.
So grateful for my amazing clients who have been incredibly patient and flexible with me during pregnancy & who have been SO kind as to give us gifts for the baby. It truly means the world to me that we have so many good people in our corner and that my child is loved before ever taking her first breath. Grateful for my wonderful husband @konopkatattoos for taking such good care of me this entire time and helping me with damn near everything as pregnancy makes doing even the most simple tasks feel difficult.
We can't wait to welcome our sweet little Veronika in the weeks to come! Thank you so much to everyone who's made this family of mine a reality. I couldn't have done it without everyone supporting my art and small business ❤🙏🏻

Finished this Evil Dead gap filler/elbow piece for my awesome client Kevin! Only a few more gaps let to fill on this horror sleeve! Swipe to see some healed photos of other work we did.
Pennywise is a cover up, Georgie and the Shining twins are reworks. Can't wait to keep on filling this sleeve in 😊 work is between 2-3 years healed.
.
Ps: sorry if Ive been hard to get a hold of lately. Life is so busy right now and I'm so dang uncomfortably pregnant, trying to prepare for this baby's arrival and I'm just so heckin tired. Whoever said you get your energy back in the 2nd and 3rd trimester is a liar. 😭 I'm really uncomfortable, have back pain so bad & limbs are soo swollen. Ive been finishing tattoos just to come home and immediately pass out. I promise I'll get back to everyone little by little!! 💜🙏🏻

Added this syringe + sticky note from the Reanimator on Larissa today. About 3.5 hours on this one. Plus peep the healed Sam we did last year at @cherryhilltattooexpo ! I added the fresh Sam for comparison at the end of the slides. 😊💜🧡💚

⚠work in progress⚠
I dont usually share in-progress pieces. I feel like the algorithm doesn't usually favor them + I love the thrill of finishing a piece so I can post it! But this is one I absolutely cannnnot wait to share 😍
My amazing client @sarrco is trusting me to do this giant @markryden piece on her thigh!
.
Of course, being almost 7 months pregnant, its a lot to do a lot right now. We did about 5 hours worth of work today & then we greylined everything in a previous session!
Going to try to do one more small session on this next month before I'm out on maternity leave in November! 🙏🏻❤
.
[[Swipe to see some more healed Mark Ryden pieces Ive done on her in the last 2 years + a demonic Bosch bird]]
I love doing these oil painting tattoos 🥰
