It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself on here, so I figured let’s rehash!

My name is Melissa, obvs, and I work with HUNDREDS of students wanting to apply to medical, dental and other healthcare schools, those currently enrolled as well as residents on how to deal with private loans.

My goal: not a single student turns down acceptances because they can’t afford to go or don’t qualify for funding🙅‍♀️

I work for @join_juno, where we negotiate better interest rates and loan terms on behalf of students with lenders, for FREE. We make money from lenders, so everything we do with students will ALWAYS be accessible and zero cost.

I meet with students every single day to talk through things like: what your credit needs to be for private loans and how to improve it, what a co-signer needs to qualify, what average terms dental students choose and SO much more. And you can yap with me for free as many times as you want.

‼️Federal student loan rates for 2026-27 are officially set. Each year, interest rates are determined based on the 10-Year Treasury Note set during the May auction.

Compared to last year, rates for all borrowers, including undergraduates, graduates, and parents, increased by 0.13%. These new rates will apply to all federal loans disbursed after July 1st, 2026 until June 30th, 2027.
