Finding peace within is the most rewarding achievement... chasing the rising sun with the Brody pup and Zeke 💕🐶🐶

A little look at one of Frida’s exercise days with @melissaledford 🤍

Because of her neck history and arthritis, we’re really intentional about keeping her moving, building strength, and varying her work in ways that support her comfort.

This day included pole work, body control, subtle aids, and then a trip to the water treadmill. These are all pieces that help her stay strong, balanced, and engaged without doing the exact same thing every day.

I’m so grateful for how thoughtfully @melissaledford and @pegasustrainingandrehab continues to work with her and I love seeing how much more confident and coordinated Frida keeps becoming.

Also, can we appreciate the size of that walk stride? 😍

And thank you for the footage Melissa! I love getting updates on my girl!

Thank you to my incredibly talented friend @colettejantze for this beautiful painting of my mare. ❤️
Thank you, too, for indulging me and bearing with my deep dive down memory lane as I shared the story of this truly incredible horse. There are some horses who leave an imprint on your heart that time can never erase, and she is one of those very special horses.
This painting captures not only her beauty, but brings up so many memories, chapters, and emotions that mean the world to me. I will cherish this forever. 🐴❤️🎨

Some days I have to stop and take a moment to appreciate just how lucky I am.
As a trainer, I get to climb on a different horse, with a different story, a different personality, and a different color coat every day. From the fiery chestnuts, the graceful bays, the powerful blacks, the golden palominos, the sparkling grays, and everything in between — each one is a privilege to sit on. #horsetrainer #coatsofmanycolors #horses by @melissaledford

Behind the ears, there’s magic in every connection. 💛 So grateful for the wonderful clients who trust me with their horses and let me help them grow, learn, and shine. Every ride is a chance to build trust, confidence, and partnership — and I love every moment of it! ✨

This old horse, she’s seen it all—sunrise rides, thunderstorm skies, the quiet of early mornings, and the laughter of long days in the barn.
At 32, she’s more than just a horse—she’s a lifetime of lessons, a heart that never quit, and a soul that’s been my partner through every adventure. From the day you were born, she’s taught me patience, trust, and the kind of love that words can’t capture. ❤️
Here’s to you, my old friend, my first horse, my teacher, my forever companion. Thank you for every nuzzle, every lesson, and every moment that made life richer just by having you in it. So lucky to still have you to cherish in this world 🐴💗#Dancer by @melissaledford
