I knew I was called to ministry when I was high school.

But I never knew I was going to be the minister.

I know that might not make sense. But here’s how it went in my mind.

“Here I am send me, Lord!” And then, in my mind here was the next phrase…

“So, I guess I need to marry to a youth pastor! That way I can still carry out my calling, AND be a wife and a mom.”

I never knew I was the one who would be the youth pastor.

It has taken me over 20 years to realize the truth of my calling. And I am so very deeply grateful for all those who saw it and called it out of me, when I couldn’t quite see it for myself.

Girls, remember God has a specific call for you. Not just for you to support in your spouses. Yes, that’s an amazing ministry too. But, it might just be that YOU are the minister He’s calling.

Give yourself the gift of a 3 min flower break today.

Yes, I said flower break! (And, yes you can bring your coffee/tea along, too)

We sometimes forget to do the simple things. And sometimes, those are the very things that actually give us more life.

So, instead of just scrolling or staying inside for your coffee break, go outside! Look at what’s around you. Clip a few things (even if it’s just green!), and make yourself a little bouquet.

Nature adds peace, joy and beauty to our lives - and we all could use a little more of those in our lives these days!

Ever since we first bought this house, we knew we wanted to paint it. We have always loved white painted brick and we knew it would happen eventually. And, finally our wait is over!

Ok guess what…if you’ve done your other first steps with beginning stages of wedding planning…It’s time for everyone’s favorite conversation - the conversation about MONEY! 💰

Before you can plan about the fun details, you have to know how much money you are working with - so be brave and just ask the questions - it can be as simple as this…

“With our wedding coming up, we are trying to figure out what our budget will be. Is there an amount that you would like to contribute?”

Or

“I know this can be a sensitive subject, but would we be able to sit down and figure how who is giving to the wedding, so that we can understand what amount we’re working with?” by @melissalewkowicz
