A wonderful time was had with my family exploring Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons! 🏔️🦬🐻 We spotted so many incredible animals, took in some breathtaking views, and made memories that will last a lifetime. 🤎 Definitely a trip for the books! by @melissam2715

2️⃣1️⃣!! Wow, it doesn’t seem possible that my baby is 2️⃣1️⃣ today! 🥹❤️
From the moment she was born, I knew she would be a fierce woman, determined to succeed at anything she set her mind to.
She has always been full of sass, determination, and loyalty. The friend who plans the best parties, gives the best gifts, and makes everyone feel loved. She’s thoughtful, loving, stubborn, kind, and has a laugh and smile that light up every room she walks into.
I am so thankful God chose me to be her mom. Being blessed with a beautiful daughter and a little bestie all in one is one of life’s greatest gifts. ❤️

Kaitlynn, I hope you know how incredibly proud you’ve made your dad and me. Watching you grow into the woman you are today has been the greatest blessing. No matter how old you get, you will always be my baby girl.

August… you were a doozy. ❤️
If I’m being completely honest, this month brought far more lows than highs. There were moments of worry, sadness, frustration, and just feeling completely overwhelmed by life. Some days felt heavier than others, and there were times I found myself focusing so much on everything that was going wrong that I forgot to stop and look at everything that was going right.
One of the things I’m most grateful for this month is the conversation Ryan and I had on our way down to Florida. Sometimes you just need to get away from the noise, sit beside the person you love, and really talk. We talked about life, where we are, where we’re going, and all the things that truly matter.
And somewhere in that conversation, I was reminded of just how incredibly blessed we are.
We have a happy, healthy family. We have each other. We have a love that has made it through the hard seasons and continues to choose each other. We have jobs we love, a roof over our heads, amazing family, and friends who love us and show up for us.
Life isn’t perfect. It never will be. There will always be things that hurt, things that disappoint us, and things we wish we could change. But even in the middle of the hard, there is still so much good.
Sometimes we just have to stop long enough to see it.
So I’m choosing to end August with gratitude instead of focusing on everything that went wrong. I’m choosing to remember the blessings, hold my people a little tighter, and trust that even the difficult seasons have a purpose.
August, you stretched me. You challenged me. You broke my heart a little. But you also reminded me of what truly matters. ❤️
Now, September… please be gentle with us. I’m praying for a little more peace, a lot more joy, and some beautiful days ahead. 🙏🏼✨

I am so incredibly proud of my girl. ❤️ @kaitlynn.bowden
She has officially accepted a position with TMR and, in just a few short weeks, she’ll be starting an exciting new chapter as she moves to Florida.
As her mom, my heart is a little sad knowing she’s leaving Tennessee, but it’s also overflowing with pride. Watching your child chase their dreams is one of the greatest gifts, even when it means they’ll be miles away.
I can’t wait to see all that this new adventure has in store for her. Florida is lucky to have you. We love you so much and will be cheering you on every step of the way. 🌴☀️❤️ by @melissam2715

Proud is an understatement.

We have known Nathan since his senior year of high school and have had the honor of watching him accomplish some amazing things in life. While I think becoming a father will always be his greatest achievement, watching him walk across that stage today as a firefighter was the icing on the cake.

I know this journey felt scary and intimidating at first, but @big_love3051 , we are so incredibly proud of you for stepping outside of your comfort zone and accomplishing this amazing milestone.

You have always been the first to lend a helping hand and give so generously of yourself to others. I have no doubt that you will have an incredible career serving your community, and we look forward to watching you continue to grow and shine.
