Thank you to everyone who has prayed for our sweet miniature schnauzer bandit, he really had us worried all week but today - he has taken a turn for the better ..he even barked for the first time since Sunday!!! For everyone who knows him you know he is my dog and he is definitely a talker like me, lol so to hear that sweet little bark that normally is annoying was wonderful today. I never knew a dog could get pneumonia, but I will tell you - it is bad on the dog just as bad as it is on us humans. this is a picture of him today- all smiles! by @melissasmithfields

I was trying to see if Bandit would use the bathroom or just enjoy being outside. I was sitting in a chair and looked down and saw this. This is my breaking point. This is when I cannot function… 🫣🙃 by @melissasmithfields

Our sweet Bandit has been at the Vets all day receiving treatment. He has pneumonia , fever, both ears are infected-dehydrated-and his liver is enlarged / the blood work showed that something‘s going on with his liver. We will focus on the pneumonia first and in a few weeks try to figure out what’s going on with his liver, he is getting IV antibiotics, nausea medicine and fluids. Please pray that my normally talkative energetic bestie dog feels better and, he has been acting different, but I just was thinking his behavior was different because he was grieving the loss of Minnie -his sister… this was bandit when I left him with the vet this morning. by @melissasmithfields

Happy National Coaches Day- with 3 children I have had the pleasure to see God work through so many coaches… we have had some of the best, that challenged encouraged strengthened and made my kids better.. we have had some that taught us patience and that sometimes it’s ok to protect your peace, but I’m thankful for each one and pray that God leads them and strengthens them because they are helping to raise our children. I do not put my kids with just anyone, and I thank God for the coaches in my children’s life in the past and currently. Thank you, I see you and I pray for you! by @melissasmithfields
