cookie swap 2024 and the start of a new tradition ✨ it was magical and dreamy and silly and i’m still buzzing. so many beautiful friends old and new came out and it was truly joyful. thanks for making my cookie dreams come true!

there’s a clarity that comes after the bubble has burst. the sharpness of the rage and anger have dulled, and with acceptance of the circumstance, comes a sense of calm resolve. don’t mistake me — i am still enraged. but at least now i am awake with eyes wide open.

i will never stop believing in a better way forward. in a world where women, queer folks, trans folks, people of color, and differently abled folks MATTER. where our bodies are safe, our voices are heard, and our lives are more than just commodities.

until then i will resist in whatever ways i am able. if this platform becomes unsafe i will leave a trail of breadcrumbs until we can be safely together again. 🖤 taken in Portland, Oregon by @melisslate
