Some beautiful photos taken by @ctoney519 at the Sinkhole this past Sunday. He did an amazing job capturing not only my set, but every performance that evening.

I am really grateful to my friend @mrbobbystevens for asking me to be part of this show. At the beginning of the year I set an intention to put myself out there more as a creative, not entirely knowing what that meant. But Bobby knew. I allowed myself to try something different, to use my voice in a way I hadn’t explored yet. It was liberating. It was fun.

The entire show was pure magic. There was variety, there was truth speaking, there was curiosity, there was community. And of course there were tiny chairs.

I have a strong feeling we are going to see more of Kyle’s new project, blending experimental sound and poetry, it was so unique. Bobby Stevens is Stl’s ultimate sweetie and one of my favorite songwriters, show him love when you can. If you have not checked out Vanessa and Micah, go do so now. They will have you bouncing around, singing along, and feeling deeply connected.

Thank you to everyone who came out on a Sunday evening to be with us and to @sinkholestl for being one of the best venues in the Lou. This city is something special. taken in The Sinkhole by @melissq_creates
