At the time when I wrote Nightmare House, I was going through a bit of a difficult time. I struggled with mental health pretty badly, questioned a lot of things I used to believe in, and saw no clear future for my life. I was close to hitting rock bottom, when I started reaching out for help. This song is about anger and confussion towards God and faith, as well as the expression and emotion, of what it feels like to be struggling deep inside. Because this song is so deeply personal and honest, I wasn‘t sure for a long time, whether or not I wanted to release this song. As you can see, I ended up deciding to release Nightmare House. I did so, to let others know that they‘re not alone in their nightmare house, and that there is available help if ever needed.
That being said, I‘m full of gratitude for all the love you‘ve shown towards these songs on the Nightmare House EP, that have as of today, been out for one year.
It‘d mean alot if you continue listening to my music, as I‘m getting new songs ready to share with you hopefully very, very soon!
