We have to admit, it was a great day.

When @fissnowboardracing asks "hardboots or softboots" and you admit to choosing hardboots on a 20cm powder day because your riding buddy @misterdonek is on his alpine snowboard.

Day two of camp in Chile. Flat light, good riding, and a lot of learning happening on the mountain.

Here are a few of my favorite shots of the coaches and organizers from today.

This photo. My favourite from an amazing ❄️❄️❄️ in 白馬 Japan ⛩️

This was the 5th annual Hakuba Carving Festival and my first Japanese technical competition, but not my last. 100% will do again next year.

Snowboarding this day - 4 days after absolute heartbreak - my world grew a little and suddenly my sadness didn't occupy every space. And every day since, my universe is expanding & reconnecting me:

❄️ To joy. pure joy of problem-solving, of learning & turning

❄️ To start-line anticipation awesomeness: clear focus in my mind juxtaposed with my pounding 💓

❄️ To sun, snow, new viewpoints; possibilites
