Here is an unedited photo of a multi-media drawing I did last year of two Sleepers (that’s what I call my characters) taking a bubble bath at a spa with hot stones. It hangs over my toilet in the bathroom. I made it myself.

I’ve been scared of posting anything I draw online for over a year now. AI is stealing everything left and right, and it’s even left people I know unemployed…and I’m certain that will only get worse. It’s creeping into my own job, as we are urged more and more each day to start “utilizing” this powerful tool. I feel it biting at my heels and I’m horrified of losing my job, my home, my future. I realized today I can’t stop it. It’s probably already pulled any images I had on the internet (including my website) and used them. I feel helpless. So I guess posting one more thing is just a drop in the bucket. I’m not really protecting anything by staying hidden.

Drawing used to make me happy, and I want it to make me happy again. Right now I just feel scared and sad about it most of the time. I used to be excited to share my little doodles from time to time. I don’t know where I’m going with this other than I drew this, and it hangs over my toilet, and I thought it looked nice. I’m tired of being scared to share my art, because at the rate things are going it’s not even “safe” sitting in my sketchbook or hanging on my wall. I feel defeated today, but I did think the lighting was nice.

❤️Happy Father’s Day❤️

If you’ve seen me recently since giving birth and said, “Wow, you seem like you’re doing so well!” – here is the reason.
:
Kevin has become a wonderful father and husband. He held me during childbirth and kept ME calm (which if you know him, usually it’s the other way around). He stepped up and learned to care for River alone just a few days after we came home when I had to go back to the hospital in the middle of the night.
:
He did it all while still having to show up for work everyday because he was still full time and America unfortunately couldn’t care less about giving Fathers a proper paternity leave.
:
So now, after going over our budget, we agreed that he can work part time so he can help watch River and raise her to know her Father. To spend all that special time together they otherwise would not have. We affectionately call them “Daddy Days” and I just know it will be a wonderful memory for her once she’s grown.

He’s always there when we need him, and I know he always will be. We love you so much!
