As the years go by, this book will always be one of my favorites. Can I call it my comfort read yet? Haha.

Fourteen months. For fourteen months, Puck Redhouse sat in a cell and kept his mouth shut, protecting the Silver Bastards MC from their enemies. Then he was free and it was time for his reward—full membership in the club, along with a party to celebrate. That’s when he saw Becca Jones for the first time and set everything in motion. Before the night ended he’d violated his parole and stolen her away from everything she knew.

Five years. It was five years ago that Puck destroyed Becca and saved her all in one night. She’s been terrified of him ever since, but she’s even more terrified of the monsters he still protects her from... But Becca refuses to let fear control her. She’s living her life and moving forward, until she gets a phone call from the past she can't ignore. She has to go back, and there’s only one man she can trust to go with her—the ex-con biker who rescued her once before.

Puck will help her again, but this time it’ll be on his terms. No more lies, no more tears, and no more holding back what he really wants...

Sins of the Fathers #3 šŸ‘

Love is an inconvenience Anna Cavallaro doesn’t have time for.
She only has one goal: to become a fashion designer. Chicago’s elite already copies her style religiously, not least because she’s the daughter of the city’s notorious mafia boss.
When she’s accepted at a world-famous fashion institute in Paris, her father’s condition is to take her bodyguard along.
Anna definitely wouldn’t mind a few weeks of no-strings-attached fun with her brooding protector.

Santino Bianchi became the Outfit’s enforcer because he liked the thrill of the hunt and kill.
Babysitting his capo’s daughter is an honorable assignment he can’t refuse. His thoughts about Anna? Not so honorable.
Santino’s ignored Anna’s persistent flirting for years. Now, far away from home boundaries begin to blur. But Santino doesn’t have any intention to be the reason for a failed engagement and the ensuing scandal.

A summer fling in Paris.
Only two things stand in Anna’s way.
Santino’s iron will.
And…her fiancé. by @mellisandre111

It’s been a long time since I last made edits, but I loved coming back, and it’s only fair to do it with one of my favorite characters from the Coraverso, Bibiana. I can’t wait to read her story. If there’s anyone who truly deserves to be happy, it’s definitely her. ā™„ļø by @mellisandre111

THE MADMAN AND HIS BROKEN PRINCESS BY @corareillyauthor šŸ–¤

• REVIEW :

I was pleasantly surprised by this story. It gave me such a strong sense of nostalgia. Nestore is one of those characters who completely steals the scene every time he appears — you can truly feel his pain, his inner conflicts, everything he carries with him. I really loved his personality. He became everything Nevio was supposed to be but failed miserably to deliver.

The suffering, the torture, everything Nestore went through absolutely broke me. I can’t remember another character who has suffered this much — and that says a lot, considering how many deeply traumatized characters Cora has written. He deserved nothing but peace and happiness, and I was genuinely happy that he had Amelia. Despite everything they went through, they were each other’s anchor, the light in the darkness.

As for Amelia, I completely understood her need to run away. That house was a permanent reminder of pain and trauma, of everything she and Nestore endured, so I can’t blame her for leaving. That said, I do wish we had gotten a bit more development for her character. I’m not sure if it’s because Nestore has such a powerful presence that he naturally steals the spotlight, but I wanted to know more about Amelia. Even so, she still managed to capture my attention.

I’m not the biggest fan of the Camorra, far from it, but I loved seeing Remo, Nino, and Fabiano again. Getting a glimpse of the old Camorra and the Falcone family felt refreshing — something Cora had been missing in recent books, especially in the Sins of the Father series. I really hope she keeps this new team, new beta readers, or whatever helped shape these last two releases.

Can’t wait for what’s coming next. by @mellisandre111

ARC REVIEW !!!!!

Cast Out by @terrironaldwrites

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4,5/5

"Real mothers don’t terrorize their kids. And she, Randi, is a fucking terrorist!"

Cast Out is an intense and deeply emotional novel about rejection, belonging, and identity. It explores the lasting damage left when someone is cast out—not just from a place, but from relationships, affection, and the very idea of home. The story follows characters living on the margins, carrying guilt that was never truly theirs, trying to survive in a world that chooses judgment over compassion.

Terri Ronald crafts a raw yet profoundly human story, where abandonment isn’t a single event but an ongoing emotional state. Through social, moral, and emotional exclusion, the novel shows how control, weaponized religion, and a community obsessed with appearances shape behavior, silence, and survival.

The book doesn’t romanticize pain, but it doesn’t turn away from it either. Instead, it highlights how love—through friendship, family, or a slowly built romance—can become a quiet form of resistance. The central relationship unfolds in small gestures, shared looks, and promises that endure even when everything else tries to pull them apart.

With sensitivity and strength, Ronald gives voice to marginalized characters, especially queer people who learn far too early what it means to be emotionally ā€œcast outā€ long before leaving a place physically. Cast Out is about finding freedom where there was once only fear, and choosing love even when the world insists it’s wrong.

This isn’t an easy read—but it’s a necessary one. A story that confronts, hurts, heals, and stays with you long after the final page. by @mellisandre111

HAPPY COVER REVEAL!! @corareillyauthor

Well, you’re probably surprised by this post, since I’m definitely not a fan of the Camorra. But I have to admit this book caught my interest and attention — and Nestore managed to catch my eye in his five seconds of screen time. Cora has the chance to create something amazing with Nestore and Amelia, and I’ve got to admit, it’s a beautiful cover. ā™„ļø

P.S.: I hate the Camorra, but my hate isn’t stronger than my love for Hailey. And I’ll take any chance I get to include her in my edits lol. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜œ by @mellisandre111

Happy 4th anniversary of the release of By Sin I Rise!!

BSIR isn’t my favorite book by the author, but Marcella is definitely one of my favorite girls, and I dare say she’s my favorite from the second generation so far. She’s truly a princess, or rather, a queen.

"There were girls who were beautiful, and there were girls who made men and women stop to admire them, jaw-dropping. Marcella was the second type."

Blurb:
Maddox – Mad Dog – White hates everything the name Vitiello stands for, after witnessing his father and his men getting butchered by the Capo of the Italian mob in their territory. Raised by his uncle, the president of the Tartarus MC, Maddox is destined to follow in his footsteps. Now their chapter is on the rise again, but for their ultimate triumph, they need to destroy the Vitiello empire. And what better way to do it than to kidnap the spoiled Vitiello princess and break her piece by piece until her father begs for mercy.

Known as the spoiled princess of New York, Marcella Vitiello grew up in a golden cage. If your father is the most feared man in New York, people treat you with reverence.
Destined to marry the boyfriend approved by her father, Marcella is tired of being treated like an untouchable porcelain doll.
She resents the life forced upon her by her family until everything she took for granted is ripped away. Now, her name brings no awe, only pain and humiliation.

If you’ve grown up in a high castle, the fall is all the deeper.

A TOUCH OF FATE !! @corareillyauthor 🩰
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5

Finally, the Cora of the first generation is back!

After a series of somewhat questionable — and even insensitive — books, Cora has given us a book worthy of the author we met in Born in Blood. As an Outfit fan, I can say without a doubt that it was worth the three-year wait. Not only because we finally have Emma and Samuel, but also because we see Dante and his family again.

I must congratulate not only Cora, but also the new beta readers, for the responsibility with which she dealt with both Samuel’s alcoholism and Emma’s disability — themes that were completely neglected in SaraMax. And speaking of which… I feel sorry for Max. He deserved an Emma in his life.

But back to the book: it kept me hooked from beginning to end. It’s been a long time since I’ve been so excited about a book by the author. Emma and Samuel's story was very well developed, as were the traumas of both. Emma's relationship with Danilo also deserves to be highlighted — Cora never fails when it comes to fraternal relationships, and this was no different.

Inês and Pietro also deserve to be mentioned in this review. I hope this participation is an indication that their novella is coming. They stole my heart in BBTP, and this was no different. Parents of the year (and grandparents too)!
I can't help but mention how good it was to see Dante and his family again, even if briefly. Seeing Dante, Val and their children always warms my heart.

And Leonas? In just a few lines he already showed that he's going to be the capo of the next generation (sorry not sorry, I love Nevio).

I simply loved it! This book doesn't have a single mistake. The hotties were definitely hot — it wasn't just Emma who got wet, if you know what I mean... šŸ˜šŸ¤¤
In fact, the only flaw in this book is that it's not longer. I'm completely in love and I hope this "new" Cora (or the old one that's back!) keeps up this pace. Simply excellent.

I'm looking forward to the next books, especially from Outfit.
And please, Cora, I beg you: keep those beta readers with you!
I can't wait to have Leonas in my hands. ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜… by @mellisandre111
