Had the honor of spending time celebrating @n2noutreach this morning as they mark 30 years of incredible, transformative work in our community. We continue to be endlessly inspired by the way they lead with action, empathy, and heart. The medium is the mission, and their impact hits at the very root of what it means to truly help neighbors thrive. The best community work is work that honors where people have been while building pathways toward hope. Seeing decades of workforce development, youth mentorship, and local empowerment unfold, and now watching them pave the way for real, through fair wage workforce and housing is a powerful story to witness.  The culmination of 30 years...the beginning of a new chapter and the hope that we can all step up to support economic dignity here in Raleigh. Thank you for leading the way, living out what it means to love your neighbor, and creating spaces where everyone has the opportunity to flourish. by @mellogusto
Kingdom Gardens is a community-centered garden initiative in Raleigh, NC, rooted in the belief that healing and transformation can start with our hands in the soil. More than a place to grow food, it’s a space where people find purpose, connection, and hope. To capture this mission, we partnered with @kingdomgardensnc to create “Where Roots Run Deep”, a short branded documentary that tells the story of a garden growing far more than produce. The film brings viewers into the heart of the garden, highlighting some of the lives being impacted, the hands behind the harvest, and the legacy taking root in Raleigh. Come grow with us. by @mellogusto
Honored to announce that LOVE/HATE is an official selection for our hometown @raleighfilmandartfestival, October 2-4, 2026. This marks our third festival selection, and bringing it back home means the world to us. Huge thank you to our incredible cast, crew, and team for making this possible, and to our community for the love. Screening times and ticket details coming soon. See you soon, Raleigh. 🙏 by @mellogusto
Earlier this year, we spent a few quiet days behind the camera with @ct_mag and @inkwellstory, capturing conversations for their new series, Letters to a Young Creative, a feature of the Young Storytellers Fellowship. No rushing, no performance, no manufactured moments. Just honest conversations about the responsibility/wonder of art, calling, and the daily fight to stay human while carrying the weight of creating something meaningful. The next generation is after some depth and it’s refreshing. They are wrestling with and asking the necessary and sometimes uncomfortable questions. Sitting in a space where seasoned voices pass wisdom down to the next wave of storytellers was a grounding, beautiful reminder of why we fell in love with this work in the first place. Immense gratitude to the teams at CT and Inkwell for inviting us into the room, and for trusting us to hold some cameras for these moments. by @mellogusto

“Bringing Durham Home” Durham Community Land Trustees (DCLT) has spent the last five decades building community, securing affordable housing, and creating a lasting legacy of equity in Durham. To celebrate this milestone, we partnered with DCLT to dive into their history and capture the heart of their upcoming Anniversary Gala. This project took us on a journey through decades of archives and brought us face-to-face with the incredible people who shaped this movement to transform a community. Today, that same revolutionary spirit drives DCLT forward as they pioneer sustainable development and innovative housing solutions to protect and empower Durham’s neighborhoods for the next 50 years. 🔗 in bio. We’re thrilled to partner with the @open_scripture team to produce the trailer for their brand new podcast designed to make seminary-level, biblical teaching accessible for all, and for FREE. Open Scripture does a great job of being both approachable and academically thoughtful, helping listeners engage with the Bible without feeling overwhelmed. Follow their journey to sharpen the way the Church reads scripture and consider becoming a patron to support their mission. by @mellogusto
Last fall we spent a few days with @dclt1208 and @modulehousing highlighting key aspects of their mission driven developer program and the impact that both sustainability and innovation can have on the obtainable housing market when organizations like this work together.
