OBSESSED with @thecollection_inc bringing New York charm-party-fashion to SCAD Lacoste! These girls are AMAZING! Kindest girl bosses EVER! Yall need to do their charm parties- some of the charms here were sourced from the Luberon Valley (where we are at) and you can literally come in and make a necklace whenever you want! BEST souvenir!😘😘😘 Talk about creativity! Plus I got to make a cake with a bunch of random French ingredients and a bouquet of paper flowers for the party!🥳🥳🥳! Sometimes a girl just needs a couple hours of hobby-ing around!
Back to editing the book- and adding page numbers! Shoutout to everyone helping me edit these chapters with a fresh perspective making it as great as it can be!🙏

Went to @posypress.co to make some custom flyers for the Book release! The link is up for Pre-Orders in the bio! LOVED learning Risograph! Not only does it use soy based ink and a small amount of electricity compared to a traditional printer, but it’s a super hands on process- think a machine that screen prints! WILD!

Gorgeous day to finish ALL spreads for the Cambodia story! Now my GeoTales book of Conservation stories is 10/16 complete (need to add color to all BW’s still!)!
ALSO Soft launch to preorder the book today- link in bio! Trying to figure out the marketing, but I got it up on the website! It’ll officiallly be a Full color Hard cover 400 page children’s book with 15 stories and, of course, amazing paper! Just got the ISBN and copyright today!

Pages of Progress in the Khao Yai progression!

I’ve been struggling with God these last few days- back to back ridiculous situations between traveling and life, but I have found quite the beautiful front row seat of epic sunshine between the rain clouds this evening in my apartment. Ive been missing Asia, missing the beach, missing the tropical air so much lately- praying for peace and joy and sunshine hugs. I guess he puts us in situations to make us better people, remember all things we have to be grateful for. I’ve never been more grateful for sunshine in my life! ALSO- This song is a great reminder if you need some joy. I always picture it’s God or my mom singing it, lol😘👊. (Some of that is an exaggeration, but YALL it’s been a TIME these last few days.) always looking forward to the moments I can keep bringing my masterpiece to life!

Just a girl mentally HERE 24/7 🤪! I’m trying to include maps in the book for all 16 stories, so as I add in illustrations to round out the stories- put in characters and whatnot, this is what my morning, lunch, and nightly routine looks like! I love this process🥳💪😉☀️

My brother knows me better than I know myself. What a legend and what a weekend. I’ve needed spontanious and Mikey brought the GREATEST surprise EVER. Classy, sassy, and a little bad assy. Adding the 911 GT3RS to my list of dreams😋!

Shoutout to the EARTH on EARTH DAYYYYY🌏LETS GOOOOO!!!! Just a few of my favorites from the camera roll! Some are not edited, some are so random, but these are the ones that always make me smile and a reminder that the Earth is SO GOOD! I also threw some of the SAPA, Vietnam Illustrations in there for my family from Sapa- I like the bright pink, it reminds me of Vietnam!

It’s amazing how much being outside next to a tree, going hiking in a trail, putting your feet in the water can truly open up our minds. The world is so full of so many beautiful things, God created different cultures and different places and aren’t we SO lucky we get to explore as much of that world as possible! The whole premise of the book that I’m making is to inspire people to go outside, to love the Earth and everything about it! Some times the things we are most scared of, the places were most scared of going are scary because we are faced with unknown variables. We have no idea until we actually go there! I’m convinced that no matter where we go in the world- give it a chance- there will always be something beautiful- just LOOK around!🤪👊

ALL of Indonesia illustrations are colored! Just finished up JAVA- I split Indo into three parts- Raja Ampat, Bali, and Java! So many memories and so many sidequests around these @unescoworldheritage sites. Shoutout to one of my favorite human beings in the universe, @jakecrichardson - I still can’t believe we did 24 hours in BROMO! Met Ruben, Jake R, and Jake S, had the greatest time walking the rim of an active volcano😂!

Ended up going to Yogyakarta where we explored Prambanan temple and Borobudur temples in PERSON! I remember researching (and if you scroll you’ll see my notes) on these temple complexes! So fascinating!
Got to see Lava spew out of Merapi one night- I really need to do a couple more illustrations for Merapi and Jodjipan village, we’ll see 😜!

JUST finished coloring ALL of @rajaampatgeopark_official sketches! This is my favorite palette so far! Each illustration has such a fun adventure and inspiration behind it- this is prime example! We hiked up the Red Bird of Paradise tour on the island next door to Kri and Jeffery and I were drawing on paper- like humans- while Jake created chalk and started drawing crosses everywhere, 😂😂😂! Our group was definitely not quiet enough to see the bird, but the hike was stunning! The little kids were so sweet, they all wanted photos taken which was the cutest thing!
It was the last night at Raja and we all got to take the boat back- the colors on the water was something out of a movie! How blessed were we that we got to see something so incredibly beautiful. It’s amazing how fast life flies, I miss that sunshine. I was just there but it already feels so far away. Just have to remember the same sunshine on that water is the one staring back at us everywhere we go!
