POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Being a graphic designer, I find myself addicted to my computer a lot of the time... but it's SO important to step away and ground yourself so you can come back fresh.

I picked up macramé 8 years ago while visiting my sister in Costa Rica & it's become my favorite way to detox. It's so rewarding to make beautiful jewelry & home decor that gives my space a cozy bohemian feel. #macramé #digitaldetox #handmadedecor by @melmottdesigns

Postcard and business card designs for @ladyseawench bringing the old world, Art Deco feel to life that so many of her paintings represent.

There's nothing like that nostalgic feeling of sending and receiving a postcard. It's dual-purpose art, a time capsule that brings you back to the forgotten days.

With so much of our lives consumed by the digital world, AI and corporate greed, it feels good to slow down and connect with the world around us.

No distractions here... just ink, paper and salty air. 🖋️

Extra! Extra! 📰
In honor of Gilmore Girls recent 25th anniversary, I wanted to recreate my Stars Hollow Gazette newspaper that I made for my dear friends themed bridal shower back in 2017. → Swipe for the original!

☕️ #GilmoreGirls will always be my ultimate comfort show, especially this time of year. The lovable characters, life lessons, quick-witted banter and one-liners keep me coming back over and over again.

Customize one with your own story as a charming detail for your shower, party or keepsake.. 🔗 Link in bio

The "oh no, I forgot a gift" panic is real—but I’ve got you covered! 🎄✨

Let’s be honest: gift cards are the ultimate crowd-pleaser, but they can feel a little... unfinished. I designed these printable gift card holders to turn a last-minute errand into a thoughtful, handmade moment.

The best part? You can download and print these right from your couch. Just grab some cardstock, a pair of scissors, and you’re ready to go! ✂️☕️

Find the link to my Etsy shop in my bio to grab yours!

Loved designing this Beetlejuice wedding suite and signage for a Halloween wedding last year! Always a thrill to bring a vision to life and hold the tangible result. 👻

📜 There's something so special about designing stationary and the connection it brings. Do you still enjoy receiving printed invitations or do you prefer the digital route?

"Waiting until it feels 'safe' or 'perfect' keeps you stuck. Growth happens when you launch anyway."

《《 I read this a few months back and it stuck with me. I've always been a perfectionist and can *sometimes* (a lot of times) obsess over the details, but when you realize it's holding you back from success, sometimes you have to just go for it.

✨️ I have big plans for MelMott Designs so stay tuned and follow along to see everything I'm working on!
