So because of Covid, the full production of Le nozze di Figaro by Mozart was halted, BUT i was afforded the honor to sing one of my role's (The Countess) arias, "Dove sono i bei momenti" and it was an experience I will never forget because it was my first time singing with an orchestra...it was so exciting 🥰.

HUGE congratulations to @melodic1 @lizkiger @operaatlantic and our entire team @matthewkylelevine @whylucywhy @helena.lusskin.soprano @samn.johnson.
It’s great to see opera and classical music represented among the new indie short films 🎥❤️ We will continue to be pushing the boundaries of classical music’s audience and what we can do with this amazing genre of music with more projects to come. 🥰

My heart is overflowing! Porgi Amor (Le Nozze di Figaro) is officially heading to the Short. Sweet. Film Fest. NYC 2026! 🎉✨
I’m still pinching myself, letting the reality of this beautiful moment wash over me. Breaking into spaces where people who look like me haven't always been centered takes so much courage, and that makes this milestone feel deeply personal and sacred. Endless, tear-filled love to our visionary director, Liz Kiger, for seeing my heart, trusting my art, and holding such a tender, safe space for my voice to soar. ❤️
Black and Brown representation belongs in opera and classical music—not as an exception, but as a living, breathing part of the tradition. Standing here today, I am so deeply proud to help pave the path forward for the little singers, composers, instrumentalists, and wide-eyed dreamers who look like me. Your dreams belong on every stage, too. ✨️ by @melodic1

surprise opera video drop! I had so much fun playing porgi amor and trying not to cry to Gada’s @melodic1 amazing interpretation of “Porgi Amor”. @lizkiger and the whole team behind their baroque opera company is amazing — no matter what you’re doing, opera, violinc being a badass at film or living life, it is so so inspiring to me to see reinvention and curiosity be possible— and I’m so excited to see you building with whatever life throws you. LOVE YOU AND ALL THERE IS TO CREATE🫶🥹

🎤✨ The countdown is on! ✨🎤
I'm thrilled to be returning to the Visions & Pathways Giving Thanks Benefit Festival for the SECOND time! 💙
This year, I have the honor of being the very first performer of the evening, helping kick off an incredible night of music, dance, culture, and community from 6–8 PM at Drew University.
There’s something special about being invited back, and I’m so grateful to once again share my voice in support of an organization that does amazing work for young people. I'm also excited to be joined by my talented accompanist, Dr. Khyle Wooten, whose artistry will help make this performance even more special. 🎹✨
Come early, grab your seats, and let’s start the night with some music! 🎶
