I shoot movement the way a dancer feels it.

Art, cinema, movement, sport, dance, music, travel, and chocolate chip cookies: that’s the world I live in. I dream big and want to create like it.

I’ve started my life in my French Alps ⛰️ practicing ballet. I’m also a qualified yoga teacher and, most recently, a Pilates instructor, always leading my work and my life with kindness and intuition.

Bonjour ☺️ and welcome to your space for your creativity and your wellbeing.

I’m Melody, a French Photographer, Art Director & Yoga Teacher based in London. I’m endlessly inspired by art, light, and human emotion. Creating visual stories that make people feel.
 So here are a few facts to help you get to know me a little better

1️⃣ I’m from the French Alps, one of my favourite places in the world 🌲 I feel deeply rooted there, and I’m endlessly grateful to call it home, always.

2️⃣ My parents named me Melody because they loved music 🎶 It’s a name people often love and stay in their mind and I’m thankful every day for that.

3️⃣ I practiced ballet for 12 years, from age six 🩰 It taught me discipline, grace, resilience, and the beauty of hard work. Lessons I carry into everything I do.

4️⃣ I moved to London 10 years ago to finish my Master’s without speaking a word of English 🇬🇧 Yet, from day one, it felt like home. And it still does. I’m now British and have the dual citizenship.

5️⃣ My love for musicals & cookies is slightly out of control 🍪🎭 and I have no intention of changing that!

6️⃣ I became a certified Yoga Teacher & Breath Coach 4 years ago 🧘‍♀️ It’s a journey that’s changed my life.

7️⃣ I’ve always loved photography. My first camera was the very first thing I bought with my own money 📸 But it became my profession only 3 years ago.

8️⃣ I spent 8 years as a full-time Art Director, which suited me perfectly: creative, fast-paced, full of ideas, and constantly evolving 🎨 It taught me to be a chameleon while staying true to my taste.

9️⃣ My creative journey began with cinema 🎬 I still remember watching the behind-the-scenes of Pirates of the Caribbean and saying to my mum, “I want to do that.” That spark has never left me and cinema is still one of my career’s future goal.

Being a great creative isn’t only about producing beautiful work; it’s about staying open, trying, failing, learning, and feeling deeply.

Photographing movement means many things. When I’m not talking about sport, dance or yoga, sometimes it’s catching the wind making the leaves and plants move and photographing people with it.
