Melon has had a flare up of skin irritation and wheeziness every winter. When I came back from the holidays, she had some noticeably raw patches on her arm and behind her ears.

As always, our vet here in Indy got us into the office quickly. They set us up with an antibiotic and a short-term med regimen to get the current flare under control.

I get anxious with Melon’s medical care and her FIV status. I wonder sometimes if I’m overreacting to tiny changes with her. But it’s tough when our tiny fuzzy friends can’t tell us how they feel. I’m grateful for our vet, a partner who generally doesn’t think I’m nuts, and a happy little Melon curled up on the couch with me.

From last week - our favorite boy was so eepy on his pre-surgery medicine 🤪 He got fixed on Thursday and is recovering nicely!

Rudy sleeps rather soundly for a boy who freaked out both his moms by trying to eat MULTIPLE PACKING PEANUTS on Monday (he’s fine, we caught him in time)
