Needle felting a new keychain. Fiber smells nice to me, is that strange? 😳 #needlefelting #羊毛フェルト #手作りキーホルダー by @melon_knits

On this sober day of memorial, I reflect by watching video essays from Indigenous voices. To lighten the mood, I'm working on a felt project. A @kirikipress
Halloween project

It's also a sick day in our house so calm overall. @yarncafeyyj has #orangeshirtday kits and are open today.

I knit a bunch of these last year for my scouting groups "Truth & Reconcilation" meetings. #truthandreconciliation #feltdoll by @melon_knits

I got a @shopbcause.ca box. It luckily showed up on a day that Little Sir and I are home sick. Time to make some soup. #sickday #かぜひいた

PS: Scout Camp was fun. I posted my late night solo camp meal on my new @solocampcafemelon insta. I watched wrestling in the silence on my own for a bit. Super fun. by @melon_knits

When I have tired mornings, sometimes a switch flips and I make a pretty meal to encourage myself. Melon's Katsu set with rice, salad, takuan, and egg. In true goblin fashion, my three drinks include a fizzy drink, my water bottle, and miso soup in a mug. I found a really good plant based miso soup. My first @librofm choice! Thanks @yarncafeyyj ! Audiobooks with delicious beverages and snacks? They are making sure we have everything we need to craft well.

I'd love to see what everyone else picks! #knitreads #audiobook by @melon_knits

Testing my set up! Exciting! I got to look at pricey camping goods. 🤑🤑🤑🥲🥲🥲

My actual outdoor set up is going to be more compact. Going to have a coffee and knit in the yard. #ソロキャン #solocamp by @melon_knits

My last post was so positive. I got strep throat for the first time ever. Melon's Solo Camp will wait till I'm better. Shoutout to Friendly Pharmacy on Vets Memorial for sorting me out. So nice! #sickday

They test for strep and handle telehealth! Someone please tag if possible. OH AND WEAR A MASK!! by @melon_knits

MY NEW CAMP GOODS HAVE ARRIVED!! Melon's Solo Camp Cafe is starting now!

I have my first trip planned, but I'm going to do a dry run in my yard. It's not a true solo camp since I'm not sleeping over, but a chill time in the pretty corners of our island is just as good!

I'm literally hopping up and down excited after being worn out the past two days. Heading to h mart for some yummy retorts foods! When Muji opens, they should have as well. Excited! #ソロキャンパー #solocamp by @melon_knits

New backpack priorities. I upgraded to a big ol water bottle so I need to carry it. Obsessed with ripstop nylon projects lately. I have a big scouting sewing project coming up so I need to get my personal sewing done.

And then to make 20+ wittle bags for the Beavers. #backpacksewing #手作りリュック by @melon_knits
