I have avoided so much of the insanity on social media, but once in a while I’m forced to witness it because it continues to bleed into my realm of interest or gets addressed by the sane people I follow. If you know me, you know I love @melissaldougherty and her apologetics channel. She normally tackles the manipulation tactics of many religious sects that claim to be Christian or Christian-adjacent.

However, this video in particular is an incredibly necessary watch/listen if you want to understand what is going on with an ever-growing section of “conservatives” that seem to hate Jews, hate women, love conspiracy, love considering themselves superior to the masses bc they have some special knowledge, and consider themselves virtuous yet hate biblical accountability all at the same time. Brothers and sisters in Christ, we need to pray… and HARD. Your children, your loved ones, and possibly even you yourself are falling into the slippery slope of deviance that is currently being called the Woke Right. I’m a day late with this, but I spent it living rather than posting on social media so I’ll call that a win, lol.

18 years together, 14 of them married to my literal best friend, and what a wild ride it’s been. Grateful to be spending life with the one guy who can keep up and equally keep me on my toes. Still hard to believe that Myspace brought us together by happenstance, but here we are! I will forever cherish our shared sense of humor, our appreciation for witty sarcasm, our mutually strong conviction on quality of music, our passion for the Lord, our closeness, and our ability to communicate deeply about every single thing on this planet. Nothing out of bounds, nothing awkward. Plenty difficult, but always worth it. God’s blessed me with a great husband and father to my children.
