Today was the first day I genuinely considered throwing in the towel with Melons. I got off a call with lawyers feeling frustrated, defeated, misunderstood, and honestly questioning whether any of this was worth it. I’ve poured so much time, money, and energy into building this brand, and some days it feels like every step forward comes with three steps back. I knew starting a business would be hard, but I don’t think I realized just how hard. I’m not giving up, but I’m also not going to pretend today didn’t make me want to. Just sharing the not so fun side of building a brand from scratch <3 by @melonsactive

For every woman who was ever told to cover up, tone it down, or make herself smaller - Dolly showed us that our bodies were never something to hide. An icon in every sense. Rest in peace, Dolly 🤍 #dollyparton #dollypartontribute #bodyconfience #fullerbust by @melonsactive

my brain moves a million miles an hour, and as someone with raging ADHD, I think it’s soooooo important to have somewhere to channel those thoughts beyond the notes app - the intrusive thoughts, the “aha” moments, the ideas that may be genius or may make absolutely no sense tomorrow. so naturally, I started a substack to document the very unfiltered process of building Melons. follow along if you want, or don’t. but if you’re interested in a behind the scenes look at wtf is going on in my brain, the link is in my bio 🍈💌 p.s. fun little update: we’re officially Melons Active LLC!!!!!!! #activewear #substack #femalefounder #adhd #buildingabrand by @melonsactive

in another life I can confidently wear thin strap sports bras and know ill be supported in my workouts. what’s a style of sports bra you wish you could wear but doesn’t work for your body? 🙂‍↔️💭 something that leaves you feeling cute but not supported… #activewear #bigbustfashion #buildingabrand #feedbackwelcome #bigchestproblems by @melonsactive
