Fatima had the idea to support a local street vendor, so we spent a few hours selling flowers and oranges in Santa Ana.

Helping street vendors is especially important right now, with ICE activity present in our neighborhoods. Many vendors rely on day-to-day sales to support themselves and their families, and community support truly makes a difference.

A coworker asked me, “What did you learn this year? Reflect on being 23.”

I sat there for a few minutes thinking… what did I learn?

I think I learned that 23 was a year of firsts.

My first EDC Orlando. My first Anime Expo. My first LA Comic Con. My first time hosting an event. My first K-pop concert. My first solo trip to Hawaii. My first Sephoria. My first successful vendor buy out. My first time at a K-Spa.

And while there were so many more firsts than I can list, the point is that this year was incredible.

I learned so much about myself, the people around me, and the communities I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of. I met talented vendors and artists, inspiring volunteers, and amazing friends who made this year even more special.

I found so much joy in community, friendship, and simply living life. I also took a big leap and started a new career after spending years in the same place.

As I close out 23, I’m filled with gratitude. Thank you to everyone who shared their kindness, laughter, love, and support with me along the way. Here’s to another year of growth, new experiences, and even more firsts. 💛 by @melorxlla

Hiii, I’m hosting a mini beach cleanup on Saturday, April 4th at 9am 🌊

We’ll be picking up plastic and trash at Newport Beach. I’ll have trash bags, gloves, and disposable masks ready for everyone.

Don’t forget to bring your own reusable water bottle, plus a hat and sunglasses to stay protected from the sun ☀️
