From hiding a secret from a young age to coping with it my only way I knew how to, being introduced to porn at a young age, accepting same sex attraction owning my false identity, wearing a mask, living a double life, Portraying myself as someone I wasn’t. Loosing a business by not saying no to it blowing up in my face and having to reep what I sowed. Receiving threats loosing people in my life going into depression and drugs. Trying to run away from everything starting over filling my life with all I knew that helped me escape. Getting HIV falling heavier into alcohol and drugs wanting to end my life. Not believing there was a God anymore. All the way to having a seizure and God that has been there the whole time encountering me and showing me how to die to what I thought I had to carry and showed me how to hand it to him and walk in repentance. Some of my skeletons were put out there , But I decided to face them and ask God how to walk in Forgiveness. I wanted Answers, He gave me True Life.

Romans 6:4 "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Chapter 31,

Last year this time I was leaving my dark life style, in a mental hospital figuring out how to stay alive and not give up.

Lord Thank you for showing me the way and allowing me to realize you were in front of me the whole time.

Thank you for surrounding me with people that helped me along the way with Listening ears,Helping Hands and Open Hearts.

To my Family for always being here no matter what , my Close Friends to knowing I would find my way, To my new Friends/Family for understanding every bit of it.

Thank you God for your Grace and Mercy that have carried me through another year of life. I am saved by His love, and every breath I take is a gift from Him. by @melothefello
