Episode 4: Clownocide
The coffee at these things is never good. But it’s not usually this bad. Some quick thinking from Phil prevents another tragedy. Mostly.

I’ve been debating whether to do a little compilation of my favourite auditions of ‘26 or wait til the end of the year 🤷‍♀️

I took a huge leap of faith back in Feb and the universe (and some gorgeous humans in it) have rewarded me with some epic opportunities

Opportunities that have seen me get to play roles even if they officially go to someone else. That’s exactly what actors get to do when we audition. I actually understand that now

But what if that’s it now? What if this run of awesome auditions, and bookings, indie projects, invites, and everything in between, dries up and there’s nothing left to celebrate at the end of the year?! 😰

That’s just the fear talking though, and I refuse to let that be the reason I don’t do something (especially when that something is following my dreams). You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. Yeah yeah it’s a cliche but it resonates. It has to. Or you’ll get to the end of this little life of yours and wonder, what if?

And we should be celebrating the wins more often dammit!

So here we are (if you’ve read this far). Being brave. And celebrating now 🎬

Hungover, investigating a murder, and riding a horse 🐴 This week’s @creatingartists class scene had it all 🎬

This one’s from @netflixanz Untamed, a thrilling crime drama starring Eric Bana

Huge thanks to superstar @lucindabopf for reading and saving me cos this was a coldish read and didn’t always go to plan 😜

Watch to see the tally!

I can finally share how many challenges I managed to achieve in the @stretchpilates_collective Move More Bingo Challenge 💪

This Pilates challenge got my out of my comfort zone, trying things I definitely wouldn’t have, and pushing myself to the limits (who remembers all the whinging about my sore 🍑?!)

I’m so grateful to @pascallouise for being so encouraging and for giving us all this super fun opportunity to get strong #beefcake

The next reveal will be whether I won a prize in the challenge 😱

Helping the next gen filmmakers to practice auditioning actors 🎬 As part of their Diploma of Screen & Media they’ll need these skills when casting their@film projects. It’s a great hands-on initiative to build real world experience.

And as an actor, it’s a perfect space to play, take some risks and experiment 🤩

The students are in great hands with @damianhussey and the rest of the crew at Coomera @tafeqld 🙏 Thanks for having me along!

My fellow actors @parisevanss @evie_ford_ @katiewebse also gave the students some hot tips. If you’re looking to cast actors soon, drop any burning questions below and I’ll answer them 🤷‍♀️

Dagwood or Pluto Pup? 🌭

In NSW they’re Pluto Pups but when I moved to QLD I learnt to call them Dagwoods. Some people even called em “hot dog on a stick” but that’s uninspired to say the least 🤔

Whatever… they’re delicious and the hot commodity at the Ekka 🎡

I haven’t been in over 20 years and always thought of it as too crowded, too expensive, and ground zero for the flu. We were there a little early so the crowds were fine, found lots of stuff to enjoy without paying, and only had 2 people cough near me. It was GREAT!
