Ahora sí! Today my firstborn son is officially 15 years old 😭! Happy birthday Judah!!!
I couldn't be more proud of the young man you are! My heart fills with so much joy every day when I see you choosing to follow the Lord, reading His word, praying and serving Him with the talents He gave you, when I see you choosing to honor your parents, when I see you being such a gentleman, so considerate, patient and kind! Not perfect, but learning from your mistakes sooner than later 🥹. Plus you're so smart and handsome and you'll always be my baby no matter how old you get! I pray you continue to love and serve God with everything you are all the days of your life and for Him to lead you to the plans and purpose He has prepared for you, that you may walk in them by His hand! Learning to communicate with our children.
These are some of the points that really stuck to me from the book I've been reading, Raising Giant-k1ller$.
Communication is key for a good relationship in general. So to have a good one with our kids we must know how to communicate with them. By doing so, we're also teaching them that good communication is intentional. We create a bridge between parents and children, where they feel safe to share their thoughts, successes, happiness, struggles and mistakes knowing they'll be loved, heard, corrected in truth and love, helped and loved again. by @meluna30

We are responsible for our children.
These are some of the points that really stuck to me from the book I've been reading, Raising Giant-k1ller$.
We are commanded to teach our children the word of the LORD, so that they may know Him and know who He says they are and His promises and gifts for their lives. Because children learn from us, we parents must know who We are in Christ. We must cherish and grow in our relationship with the Holy Spirit. It is through Him that we are able to be more and more like Jesus. by @meluna30

Building our home intentionally.
These are some of the points that really stuck to me from the book I've been reading, Raising Giant-k1ller$. Because of our daily fast-paced and overstimulated lives we tend to forget about the long-term/eternal gain and purpose of why we have to be intentional about raising our kids, and to do that we have to start with ourselves surrendering all to God, get aligned with His word, and model what we're teaching our kids with the help of the Holy Spirit. by @meluna30
