Today’s OOTD 😍 My day is mostly telehealth, so I wanted something relaxed & comfy but still cute & professional. I think we nailed it! Also, these sandals are my absolute new favorites!! I loved them so much after one wear that I just ordered them in a second color. They were recommended by the lovely @jeanwang & she couldn’t be more right. Stylish, super comfortable, amazing for walking due to ACTUAL ARCH SUPPORT, and an approachable price! 👚 me made 👖 @liverpoollosangeles 🩴 @fitflop by @melvimakes

It’s been an absolute delight to be a pattern tester for the Maja shorts by @_thesewcialclub They’re a beginner friendly make that are super cute & comfy. And POCKETS!! These are the first shorts I’ve made since beginning to sew in May. They will definitely be in frequent rotation for the rest of summer and many vacations to come!! I’ve been dreaming of this skirt for about six weeks, and she’s finally done!! Inspiration & tutorial from @sewingwithsolana with special thanks to @paradisepatterns for her amazing Honeygirl patterns & instructions to help it all along! Mistakes were made. Lessons were learned. Needles were broken. Swear words were spoken. And all of that was immediately forgotten when I saw her in the mirror!! 💗💗💗 by @melvimakes

I haven’t gotten any sewing done yet this weekend, but I did manage to cut out the Maja shorts last night in three delightful fabrics. I decided to go with the pink seersucker, because DUH! 😆 The fabulous Madras plaid is from @homeecworkshop 🩵🩷 I graduated HS in the 90s! I will ALWAYS love a Madras! And I just can’t resist the cute little lobsters 🦞 I can’t wait to get these beauties sewn up. 😍😍😍😍 by @melvimakes
