New Headshots that I absolutely love from Headshots by Scott Dentinger! What vibes are we feeling from these different shots?

Scott was a dream, making me feel comfortable and getting the shots I wanted! (Even me specifically asking for the "Laura Hodos" open smile shot and the "JCP - Jennifer Christa Palmer" total badass shot.) Can't recommend working with him enough! Just so happy to be officially wed to the love of my life Kate Whitworth. Thankful to every tender heart that joined our little celebration or sent love from afar. What a special day. And it didn't rain! But we did have a cricket stow away for luck :)

(And thank you to the lovely @ashleylauren_flphotographer for capturing these memories. Apparently these are just our "sneak peak" photos. I can't believe there will be even more!) taken in Whispering Oaks Winery by @melworth_

Here’s the thing about Mary Poppins onstage. Mounting this show sort of forces you to practice what the script preaches. It is a HUGE undertaking*, so you really have to believe that “anything can happen if you let it.” This production has been putting that into practice every day. Plus, if you’re really lucky, you make it to the primary lesson of Mary Poppins (in my opinion anyway): prioritizing joy. Especially prioritizing joy with the people you love. I think we’ve been doing a decent job with that one too in the face of some unexpected tech week obstacles, and I look forward to finding even more joy over this run. I am truly so honored to be on this team, at this incredible theatre, returning to a story that I believe can change lives.

Thank you to Patrick, Matthew, Andre, Adam, April, the entire cast and crew dancing and working their faces off, if you’re a part of this thing, thank you. And to Kate and my parents and friends who have been sending extra love and grace lately, it’s meant the world to me. Let’s go fly a kite, my friends 🪁

*huge undertaking ie TECH, choreography, magical effects including but certainly not limited to a flight system, costumes, full cast quick changes, giant set pieces, underscoring up the wazoo, child actors carrying a ton of the script, props on props on props, etc, etc, etc by @melworth_

Just over one year existing in the Cosmos! I am so incredibly lucky to truly enjoy my job. I do not take that for granted. Our little french family has grown since this picture, (sorry to those not here), but I sure love our little corner of the universe. by @melworth_
