I almost put a sappy song over this post, but I already know you’d be telling me to turn that sad shit off and put on Salt-N-Pepa instead.

No words will ever feel like enough.

From the second you met Billy, he had this way of making you feel completely at ease. Like you mattered. Like you were seen. Like you were safe to just be yourself. People were naturally drawn to him without even trying. There was just something about his energy that made you want to stay a little longer in his presence.

He was so family oriented, and he loved the people in his life deeply. He spoke about them with so much pride and care, and you could always feel how important his people were to him.

He was incredibly talented at what he did. Doing hair wasn’t just his job, it was something he poured himself into. He made people feel beautiful, confident, and taken care of in a way that went far beyond just the appointment. People loved going to him not just for his work, but because being in his chair felt like being around someone so bright and full of life.

He was always there with advice- the brutally honest kind that you didn’t always want to hear, but somehow needed. But he had such a soft, kind way of saying things that even the hardest truths felt easier coming from him.

He had this light about him… always laughing, always bringing energy into every room, always making moments feel lighter just by being there. He had a heart as big as his personality, and both left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
