So thrilled with how this vase came out I had to stop of the way home from the studio and do a little photo shoot with it 😊 Tulips inspired by the upholstery on a fabulous vintage chair I scored at an estate sale years ago.

My submission for the BAYarts advanced ceramics show called Be The Light. I’m incredibly proud of these lamps and so grateful to be part of the BAYarts community. My peers made wonderful work and opening night was a hit! Special thank you to my friends and family who showed up to see some of my inner world on display. Come see these and so much more at the Sullivan Family Gallery at BAYarts through May 30th. #nerikomi #nerikomiceramics taken in BAYarts by @melyssamadethis

Blue Daisy nerikomi sconce makes me feel like I’m sitting on an air chair listening to this song circling flare pants in the Delia’s catalog while my cucumber melon body mist cloud lingers in the air. #nerikomi #nerikomipottery #coloredclay #masonstain #clayinlay by @melyssamadethis
