I don’t do a lot of standalone album posts anymore, but this new @snet_shitheads absolutely demands one.

Best OSDM of the year and beyond. This thing rips front to back. No filler, just straight-up death metal devastation.

@mesacounojo / @darkdescentrecords — you got a real killer right here! 💀💀💀

This is what collecting records since 1979 looks like. A lifetime of hoarding vinyl with no end in sight. But hey, I could have far worse vices and spend my money on things that lead to much more catastrophic outcomes than this…however, do not engage in activities such as this! 👀💿

Stereo Equipment in the Sub Basement:

🎛️ Amp: Pioneer SX-1080
💿 Turntable: Thorens TD 165
📼 Tape Deck: AIWA AD-6550
🔊 Speakers: JBL 4310

Rubber Soul reimagined…in this superb box set.

Huge praise to @plaidroomrecords for making this amazingly affordable and once again proving why they’re my top-dog record store. I’ll come visit when I roll through Ohio—promise!

The new mix is an absolute must-own, and the fact that you also get the all-analog mono mix and a gigantic book thrown in there makes this a total win. 🇬🇧

Spinning one of the heaviest and most devastating albums ever to come out of New York. A true pillar of Death/Doom, if you ask me. Trailblazing all the way. 💀

This is the @southernlordrecords issue from 15 years ago. As much as I praised the Lord for reissuing this back then, I still do. This thing is packaged like no other.

Winter — Into Darkness, 1990.

I’ve had this box set since the end of August, and I honestly can’t stop spinning it. These first five Jethro Tull records are nothing short of tremendous, and they’ve all stood the test of time beautifully.

I’ve been a Tull fan since the late ’70s and first saw them live in 1982, so this collection hits a pretty special place for me. Five incredible records, one after another, and still sounding as fresh and essential as ever.

Aqualung remains… 🪈
