The @yokai_kaizen.jp Summer School was designed to provide drivers with a comprehensive educational experience focused on building the awareness, discipline, and technical understanding required to perform consistently at every level of drifting.

From understanding grid procedures and staging responsibilities to analyzing course design, identifying reference points, and recognizing how each section of the circuit influences vehicle placement, every lesson reinforced the importance of preparation.

Drivers actively documented instructor feedback, evaluated their own performance, and transformed classroom discussions into measurable improvements on the asphalt.

As each session progressed, those fundamentals became visible on track. Drivers approached every lap with greater intention, refining their vision, improving vehicle positioning, increasing throttle and braking precision, and strengthening their ability to anticipate rather than simply react. Every correction was purposeful, every adjustment deliberate, and every run became another opportunity to reinforce the habits that produce long term success.

One of the defining elements of @yokai_kaizen.jp is its commitment to creating knowledgeable, adaptable drivers. Technical skill is only one component of performance in situational awareness, communication, mental preparation, consistency, and the ability to process information under pressure are equally critical. By emphasizing these principles, @yokai_kaizen.jp Summer School provides participants with a framework that extends well beyond a single event and continues to influence their growth throughout their motorsports journey.

Progress is everything.

It’s not about being the fastest driver on day one it’s about becoming a better driver every time you strap into the seat.
That philosophy is exactly what @yokai_kaizen.jp Summer School represents.

Over the course of the Clinic, drivers weren’t simply chasing speed they were building the foundation that creates consistency, confidence, and long term success. Every session challenged participants to think differently, trust the process, and embrace the mindset that every lap is an opportunity to improve.

The instructors @blackrabbittattoodrift and @memas_brg35 and @slow96240sx and @sabotage_tyler and @evisserr poured their knowledge, experience into every driver, helping them refine their racing line, consistently find their apex, improve throttle and steering inputs, increase situational awareness, and maximize every second of valuable seat time.

Their coaching went far beyond technique they inspired drivers to understand why every adjustment matters, giving them the tools to continue progressing long after the event is over.

In motorsports, talent can open the door but progress is what keeps it open. The drivers who commit to learning, remain coachable, and embrace every success and every mistake are the ones who continue to elevate their craft. Every correction, every piece of feedback, and every lap completed becomes another step toward becoming the driver you aspire to be.

@yokai_kaizen.jp has built more than a driving school they’ve built a culture where education, mentorship, and community come together to push every participant beyond their limits. They continue to invest in the future of drifting by creating an environment where drivers of every experience level can learn, grow, and discover what’s truly possible.

A sincere thank you to the staff, and every driver who committed themselves to the process. Your willingness to learn and to pursue improvement is what strengthens this community and continues to raise the standard for grassroots motorsports.

Driver development is the cornerstone of every successful motorsports program, and @yokai_kaizen.jp continues to raise the benchmark through its Summer School initiative at @richmondraceway

Built around precision, education, and measurable progression, the program delivered an immersive learning experience that challenged drivers to refine their technical abilities, expand their situational awareness, and deepen their understanding of vehicle dynamics in a structured, professional environment. Every session was designed with a clear objective to create more confident, capable, and well rounded drivers both on and off the track.

What distinguishes @yokai_kaizen.jp is its commitment to cultivating a culture of mentorship. By creating direct access between instructors, experienced competitors, aspiring drivers, and enthusiasts, the program transformed #richmondraceway into more than a training facility it became a collaborative environment where knowledge is shared, relationships were strengthened, and the next generation of talent was empowered to pursue higher standards of performance.

A sincere thank you to the entire @yokai_kaizen.jp staff for delivering an exceptional educational experience, to every instructor for investing their time and expertise into developing future competitors, and to every driver who arrived with the dedication to learn, adapt, and improve. Your commitment reflects the values that continue to move the sport of drifting forward.

We will see y’all at the next one!
