It’s finally here "Magnetoria Çiftlik" is officially available now! Published by @sincapkitap

Designing these large, activity-filled scenes pushed me to think beyond making a beautiful illustration. Every character, animal, and little moment needed to feel fun, clear, and engaging for young readers.

It also marks my first collaboration with a Turkish publisher and a meaningful new chapter in my international journey with Kalpanika Studio.

Here’s to creating more books that are beautiful, meaningful, and genuinely loved by children. 💛

My first step into the #SCBWIDrawThis challenge by @scbwi

A little red crab waves his tiny claw,
to ocean friends he’s never seen before.
The tide says, “Come!” The blue says, “Dive!”
So off he jumps brave, bright, alive.

Up on the hill, the little boar stood tall,
Eyes to the sky, feeling bigger than all.

But past the trees and the morning dew,
he learned the world was wider than what his snout knew.

A little reimagination of my prehistoric era illustration 🖌️🫡

Here are some works that challenged me to draw more human figure illustrations.

As you can see, I really love drawing cute things, but I still have so much to learn—especially in improving character design with different body types, faces, and expressions.

What’s the most challenging part of illustrating for you? Let’s share! :)

One thing I love about illustrating children’s books is creating characters that are not only adorable, but also can connect with the story and last but not least, memorable❤️

Kids have strong memories, so when they can recognize and remember a character, it means the character truly works.

Here are some characters I’ve made for upcoming and published children’s books. My favorites are Dudu from "Dudu Boleh Berteriak (coming soon)" written by @putripuspitaningrum, and Raja Singa from "Lukisan Pangeran Kecil" (published, 2025) written by @rizkiaori.

Which one is your favorite? Let me know ☺️

Day 2 — Rivers Flowing #OurPlanetWeek2026

"A bear and her cubs walk slowly. They are hungry.
By the river, they stop and catch salmon swimming past. "

Finally checked one little wish: drawing nature with these lovely animals 🐻💚

This piece is a small tribute to "As Strong As The River" by @flyingeyebooks a book that deeply inspired me to create this artwork.

Hopefully someday I can work with them. Wish me luck ✨
