Marjorie Rawlings, client of famous book agent Max Perkins, wrote The Yearling, which won the Pulitzer. Cross Creek, another of her works, tells the story of her life on an orange grove in Florida where she wrote The Yearling. I found this movie on Tubi & loved it. by @memoirscribe

We played horses in kindergarten, road bikes all over San Diego as adults, shared baby showers, reunions & long, long phone calls. Now I’m Nurse Rachet for her knee replacement in Seattle. Ah life. ❤️ Hard to fathom. by @memoirscribe

A quiet kind & steadfast companion left this earth Friday. He was my watch dog, travel companion & hiking buddy. Barely made a sound, rarely showed emotion, still, both Tom & I knew what he wanted—often in great detail. Amazing thing, that connection. I’m relieved, but will miss him until I join him. RIP Buddy. 🌹🌸💐🌷🌻🥀 by @memoirscribe
