While many visitors are enjoying the final days of summer, Memorial Park's dedicated crew is preparing for the season ahead.

In recent weeks, our teams have been hard at work:
🌳 Lifting tree canopies and removing invasive vines
🌱 Maintaining native plant gardens through intensive weeding and watering
🌾 Managing prairie habitats through mowing, trimming, and invasive species removal
🦋 Supporting wildlife that calls Memorial Park home

The heat may be intense, but preparation now sets the stage for successful fall plantings and healthier ecosystems throughout the Park. The next time you see one of our crew members, give them a wave or a thumbs up for all they do!👋

A place to pause after a morning run. An area where friends gather to catch up. A quiet seat to reflect, celebrate, remember, or simply take in the beauty of Memorial Park.🌳

Located in Clay Family Eastern Glades, along the Seymour Lieberman Trail, and throughout Kinder Land Bridge and Cyvia & Melvyn Wolff Prairie, these benches have become more than places to sit – they are places where stories live.

✨Imagine someone sitting on your bench years from now; sharing news, watching the sunset, catching their breath, introducing a child to the outdoors. Every dedication becomes part of the Park’s story.

Contact dedications@memorialparkconservancy.org to schedule a tour and explore available bench opportunities throughout Memorial Park. Your story is waiting.📖 by @memorialparkconservancy
