Access starts with people who are prepared to make it possible.

At @memphisroxclimbing , ACG volunteers came together for hands-on training focused on supporting climbers with disabilities, adapting to individual needs, and building confidence, both on and off the wall.

These sessions aren’t about learning one “right” way to help. They’re about developing the skills to listen, problem-solve, and work with the abilities each climber already brings who will one day be leaders and helpers in the sport of climbing.

Thank you to Memphis Rox for hosting us and to every volunteer helping us build a stronger, more accessible climbing community.

Interested in volunteering with ACG? Learn more and get involved at adaptiveclimbinggroup.org or email southeast@adaptiveclimbinggroup.org

Climbing has a way of bringing people together. On July 18, join us at Memphis Rox for a day of free climbing, good food, live music, art, and community. Whether it’s your first time tying in or you’re a seasoned pro, everyone’s invited.

See you on Global Climbing Day.
